JOSE ANTONIO MIGUEL M. CONSING

Associate

Jose Antonio Miguel M. Consing is a lawyer whose practice is focused primarily on litigation and dispute resolution, supported by experience in corporate advisory, government relations, and public policy. His background allows him to approach disputes with an understanding not only of legal strategy and courtroom procedure, but also of the regulatory, institutional, and business considerations that often shape a matter.

Before joining AJA Law, Miguel served as a Public Attorney with the Public Attorney’s Office, where he regularly appeared before trial courts and handled a broad range of cases. His experience in active litigation developed his grounding in case preparation, written and oral advocacy, and the practical considerations involved in managing disputes through the court process.

Miguel also previously served as a senior manager and in-house counsel for a government relations and public affairs consultancy. In that role, he advised clients on legislative developments, regulatory issues, public policy, stakeholder engagement, and corporate matters. This experience gave him additional perspective on how legal issues interact with government processes, institutional priorities, and commercial objectives.

At AJA Law, Miguel brings these different areas of experience together in handling contentious and advisory matters. He approaches legal issues with an emphasis on careful preparation, practical strategy, and understanding the broader context in which a client must make decisions.

Outside legal practice, Miguel is an avid martial arts practitioner, particularly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a lifelong film enthusiast.
